Sikkim Police Recruitment 2018 – 342 Constable Posts Details
Number of Vacancies to apply for the post of Constable :
• 342 ( Three Thousand and forty two only )
Name of the Posts:
• GD Constable: 270 Posts
• GD Constable (Women): 60 Posts
• Constable Technical: 10 Posts
• Constable Technical (Women): 02 Posts
Age Limit: Age limit to apply for the post of Constable should be between 18-22 years for GD Constable & Constable Technical as on 01-02-2018. Age Relaxation is applicable for BL/ ST/ SC/ OBC/ HG candidates as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Applicant must have passed class X passed from recognized Board for open candidates as well as for HG candidates for GD Constable posts, class XII passed in PCM for Constable Technical posts.
Application Form: Candidates need to deposit the amount of Rs.70/- as Bank Reciept (SBS) under revenue head 0055-Police-800 and obtain application form from the office of the Deputy Inspector General of Police/ Special Branch, Tadong, Gangtok and the office of District SsP (North/ South/ West) on working days from 29-01-2018 to 28-02-2018.
Selection Process: Selection will be done on the bases of the best performance on the following
• Physical Measurement
• Written Examination
• Physical Efficiency
• Endurance Test (PET)
• Viva-Voice.
How to Apply: Send the application along with Sikkim Subject/ COI, Valid local employment card, BL/ ST/ SC/ OBC/ BPL Certificate, Educational qualification certificate/ mark sheet, Birth certificate, NOC, 2 passport size photographs to the office of the Deputy Inspector General of Police/ Special Branch, Tadong, Gangtok and the office of District SsP (North/ South/ West) on or before 28-02-2018.
