** Library Information Officer – 1 post.
** Technical Assistant – 10 post.
** Stenographer Grade-III – 2.
** Forest Guard – 2 post.
** Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) – 9 post.
Age Limit:
18 – 27 years

Essential Qualification :
** Library Information Assistant – Graduate from recognized University with Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science.
** Technical Assistant – Higher Secondary (12th ) with Science from a recognized Board.
** Stenographer – Higher Secondary (12th) passed from a recognized Board. candidate should have posses a minimum speed of 80 wpm in Stenography English / Hindi.
** Forest Guard – 10th Class pass from a recognized board with certificate in Fire Fighting. Desirable qualification is Home Guard Training & Experience in relevant trade.
** Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) – 10th Class pass from a recognized board / school with 3 years or more experience in relevant trade.
Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of interview.
Pay Scale:
** Library Information Assistant – Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Rs. 4200/- GP
** Technical Assistant – Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Rs. 2000/- GP
** Stenographer – Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Rs. 2400/- GP
** Forest Guard & MTS – Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Rs. 1800/- GP
Application Fees :
Applicant required to pay application fee of Rs.200 through Non Refundable Demand Draft only from any Nationalized bank in favour of- Director, Rain Forest Research Institute, Jorhat”. Persons with divisibility (PWD) and Female candidates exempted from payment of fees. SC / ST candidates who apply against the vacancy in their respective quota are also exempted from payment of fees. Relaxation in fees is not applicable to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against unreserved posts.
